Help us fund our programming!
Did you know that over 18% of households, 6.9 million people in Canada are food insecure? This means they have difficulty putting food on the table. Among these families, 1.8 million children are living in food-insecure households.

Hand Up Toronto and our fleet of volunteer drivers have been on the ground delivering to low income families throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) that are facing barriers to healthy food. We believe that providing a consistent source of supplemental food is a sustainable way to make a lasting impact for the families we serve. In a world full of uncertainties, we can be a source of stability in their lives, allowing them to focus on overcoming other hardships.
Why Support Hand Up Toronto
As a volunteer organization, over 90% of our funding goes directly to providing food for the families we serve. We work directly with families to ensure our support is meeting the need exactly where is needing support.

Your donation of $30 will help support a family of 4 for 3 weeks. Our hampers are full of nutritious and filling pasta, grains, beans, and fresh produce.

​We are fortunate enough to work with great partners such as GlobalMedic and Foodshare whom provide us with pre-packaged food hampers at cost and allow us to dispatch from their facility. Routific supports our delivery program with optimized routes for our volunteer drivers to follow.

Cheque
In order to make an offline donation, we ask that you please follow these instructions:
1. Make a cheque payable to “Hand Up From Hunger Toronto”
2. On the memo line of the cheque, please write “Donation”
3. Please include your email address on the back of the check for donation receipt purposes
